and katara is pregnant but not 9 months pregnant or anything

my photoshop has been on the fritz as of late so i need to go back and fix this (please let me know of anything screwy in this picture- this is the best i could attempt with my photoshop going haywire)
for some reason the color i pick isnt the same color when i draw it - it gets super light - and i have no idea how to fix it - and ive been using photoshop for a long time! its so frustrating! anyone else ever encounter this problem?
